The master thesis is the result of different academic paths that allowed me to concentrate my final project on emergency architecture. For this reason it was important to focus the research on poor countries where social architecture is closely connected with the need to simplify the building process.
Indeed in this context the architecture is based on environmental needs and sustainable energy.
In particular the target of the project was to design the spaces to prevent the closing of educational facilities, which usually happens in the emergency periods. The project for a temporary school focuses on an adaptable and transformable concept in different climate and cultural contexts.
As an easy and economical solution to this problem the wood fillet has been chosen as the main building block. The reasons for this choice are connected to the easy availability of the fillets in all countries, also in places where there are no industrial machines. The use of this element defines a series
