Groundworks Contract for Jaguar Land Rover - O'Brien Construction case study

Page 1

Work by O’Brien Construction of a modular building and corrosion road at Jaguar Land Rover. The work carried out by O’Brien included infrastructure works, foundations, drainage and an entrance road to the new car parks of the modular building. We opted for trenchless pipe installation and utilised directional drilling which avoided disturbing busy access roads and eliminated risks of working around services. The corrosion road used to test paintwork on new vehicles consisted of the construction of a 4000m2 carriageway. This took place adjacent to the live braking-test track. Personnel safety and minimum disruption were paramount to ensure Land Rover could continue to test unhindered. The project was completed within the designated time frame and to the high standards required by Jaguar Land Rover.
