ROLING AT SIMPSON • Entering third season in 2019 • Closed the 2018 season by winning 4 of 6 games • Hired on July 11, 2016 as the 26th coach in school history • Has coached five all-conference performers in two seasons BEFORE SIMPSON • Oversaw recruiting, hitting, catching and team defense at Loras • Team hit .314 in 2016 while boasting the league’s batting champion and co-home run leader • Coe’s top assistant during a highly successful three-year stretch • Helped the Kohawks go 89-43 with an IIAC Championship in 2011 and two trips to the NCAA Tournament • Coe experienced the three winningest seasons in school history during the stretch, including 32 wins in 2011 • Served as head coach of the River Valley Summer Collegiate Baseball League’s Dubuque Waves in 2010. • Led the Waves to a league championship while earning Manager of the Year honors.
