Digital Design and Fabrication workshop Location: UT/ Tehran Year: 2019 ROBOTISM was a ten-day workshop held in December 2019 at the University of Tehranfocused specifically on the computationaldesign and robotic fabrication. The workshopincluded 45 undergraduate and graduate architecture Students who were divided intogroups of 5 to 6 and practiced working withrobot. KUKA KR6 with a KRC2 controller was used in this workshop Supervisor: Dr Mohammad Reza Matini Tutors: Mehran Masoudi, Farzaneh Eskandari Seyed Ali Derazgisou, Ramtin Haghnazar
After teaching the KRL Syntax at the beginning of the workshop and elaborating on how to generate G-Codes, the students did two series of basic exercises in their groups to learn the concept of paths in robot simulation in the first part of workshop. For the first execise, they were asked to draw continuous curves with specific patterns in grasshopper 3d and define the motion path of the robot and after generating the G-Codes they started to light painting by using a simple LED as a tool that was placed on the robot’s head. Groups produced corresponding G-codes to make the robot follow the specified paths and print the pattern with the light. In the next exercise, each group was asked to design a structure making use of wooden pieces with specific sizes and numbers, and assemble it with Pick and Place technique, making sure that it could maintain its stability throughout the assembly without the need for screwing or gluing.

The final design had to be prepared for the assembly process. Given the limitation of robot reach to 1.6m and the conditions of the site, we decided to halve the arch, and also split each half to 4 and 5 sections respectively, making a total of 9 sections. Two methods were proposed for connection of wooden pieces; utilizing a glued roller to which each wooden piece would be rubbed by the robot and placed at the its position, or using a collaborative human-robotic fabrication technique in which someone would use a pneumatic nail gun to fasten objects together after being placed by robot. Considering some practical issues and time constraint, the latter was preferred.the fabricated sections in the workshop space were transported to the campus and assembled over two hours.

Iran Multiplex Cinema Location: Tehran,Iran year: 2015 Individual Project Designing of this complex was inspired a project and changed the project›s performance and design and turned it into a desired design by creating cinematic Pardis and providing exterior spaces and amusements alongside cinema hall. The general purpose of space design is to spend the best times and have fun to people.

Tehran Recreation Center Location:Tehran,Iran Year:2017 individual Project This is a student project which have been considered for thesis defense in 2017 . The project was designed according to the needs of the area. Its design idea was based on the patterns which were not available in the city. The main ideas of this complex have been conducted in its interior design. The main ideas of this complex have been conducted in its interior design.
The main ideas of this complex have been conducted in its interior design. The aim of designing the complex was based on the centers which have been located in this area; in addition, creating spaces and senses that are transmitted to the audience by the architecture and creating spaces that are not in other centers and inducing a new sense to audience such as a plaza (a place for people aggregation) and a space for dialogue and thought as well as meeting. On the upstairs, there are also residental spaces which has been considered for passengers.

Cookie Box bakery Factory Location: Tehran,Iran Year: 2015/16 Design Team Member The mentioned project began constructing in Siasang Industrial Park. Designing of the project lasted 1 month. In addition, it took 1 year to build and reconstruct it. Considering the needs of the employer and the provision of the required space as well as the principles of factory design criteria, this project required special attention. The project included 2 production lines, storage space, accommodation and sentry.

Cookie Box Sam center Branch Location: Tehran,Iran Year: 2017 Design Team Member The interior design project of the cookie box store of Sam Center branch was done in 2017. The design and construction of this project was done by the Decontech group and I was present as a member of the design and supervision team for the construction of the project. In the architectural design of this project, we try to use the elements designed in the factory of this complex. The architectural style of this project is high-tech.
