Throughout the fifteen weeks of the Studio Site Design, four students worked on a simple design to be realized (hypothetically) on the site.
The rich site characteristics allowed each student to find her/his own focus for design quality, beyond the prescriptions in the assignment.
The site is on the SNU campus allowing for easy site visits at various stages in the developing spring season; at various days of the week; at various times of the day. Some site features are iconic or strong, like Rem Koolhaas’ Museum of Art, or the wooded hill side with rocky outcrops beyond the Dorim Stream that was part of the site.
