PROGRAMME TITLE – Business and Management Basic Participant Profile
This course will provide a foundation in the basics of business and management and suit people interested in management and the managing of people or processes. Programme Aim
To provide the students with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to get to work in a business organisation. Programme Objectives To prepare students in the areas of management, trainee/manager, sales/sales management, personnel officer/manager and entrepreneurial opportunities. Outline Syllabus
Business writing fundamentals. Principles of corporate social responsibility and ethics. Basic research skills to support business decision making. Human resource function skills. Financial principles to support the organisation operations. Principles of supply chain management and operations management. Components of a business plan. Basic entrepreneurial strategies to identify and respond to new opportunities. Training Method
The focus of the training delivery concentrates on a balance of: Instruction Discussion Groups Presentations Giving And Receiving Feedback Demonstrations Training Facilities
