24 May: at Royal Benja Hotel, Bangkok Amnesty International Thailand presented the Amnesty International Report 2012: The State of the World’s Human Rights on 24 May 2012. The Amnesty International Report 2012 provides a comprehensive global overview of the state of the world's human rights. The report covers 155 countries, documents human rights issues of concern to Amnesty International during 2011 and reflects the organization’s activities during the year to promote human rights and to campaign against specific human rights abuses. The launched in Bangkok was followed by a discussed on the death penalty and freedom of expression in Thailand by prominent speakers working to promote and protect human rights.

24 พฤษภาคม: แอมเนสตี้ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ประเทศไทย จัดแถลงข่าวเปิดตัวรายงานสถานการณ์ สิทธิมนุษยชนของแอมเนสตี้ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ประจาปี 2555 ณ โรงแรเมรอยัลเบญจา สุขุมซอย 5 กรุงเทพฯ นาเสนอรายงานสถานการณ์ ด้านสิทธิ มนุษยชนตลอดปี 2554 โดยให้ทั้งภาพรวม ของห้า ภูมิภาคและข้อมูลของแต่ละประเทศจากทั้งหมด 155 ประเทศและดินแดน รายงานชี้ให้เห็นว่าการ เรียกร้อง สิทธิมนุษยชนยังดาเนินต่อไปอย่างเข้มแข็ง ในทุกมุม โลก สาหรับประเทศไทยมีหลายประเด็นที่น่า เป็น กังวลเช่น การขัดแย้งกันด้วยอาวุธภายในประเทศ การลอยนวลพ้นผิด เสรีภาพในการแสดงออก ผู้ลี้ภัย และผู้อพยพเข้าเมือง และโทษประหารชีวิต นอกเหนือ จากนาเสนอรายงานแล้วยังมีเวทีเสวนาในหัวข้อ “สถานการณ์โทษประหารชีวิตและเสรีภาพในการ แสดงความคิดเห็นในประเทศไทย” มีผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องและ ผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการละเมิดสิทธิเข้าร่วมเสวนา อาทิเช่น เหยื่อจากกระบวนการยุติธรรมในคดีเชอรี่ แอน ดันแคน และทนายความในคดีอากง SMS รายงานสถานการณ์สิทธิมนุษยชน 2555 (AIR 2012) ณ กรุงเทพฯ

Amnesty club organized 12 hour Letter Writing Marathon. The event started from 10am until 10pm. From 10am until 3pm there was English classes brought down to write their letters and also abductions of pupils was put in a cage.
