H u m a n R i g h t s F i l m S e r i e s ‘ M o v i e s f o r L i f e ’ Amnesty International Thailand organized a Human Rights Film Series ‘Movies for Life’ to mark the 10th World Day Against the Death Penalty on October 10. The series, running October 10 to 12 at the Alliance Française, was consisted of four films, the 2011 death-row documentary Into the Abyss, the Kevin Spacey drama The Life of David Gale, Lars von Trier's Dancer in the Dark starring Björk and the woman-on-death-row documentary Crime After Crime, along with movies talk, roundtable discussion on ’Violence in Thai society: Case Study of the Death Penalty’, the “Death is Not Justice” poster exhibition, and take action for people at risk.
แอมเนสตี้ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ประเทศไทย จัดกิจกรรม สัปดาห์ภาพยนตร์สิทธิมนุษยชน “เทศกาลหนังมีชีวิต” ระหว่างวันที่ 10-12 ตุลาคม 2555 ณ สมาคมฝรั่งเศส ถ.สาทรใต้ กรุงเทพ ในกิจกรรมมีการฉายภาพยนตร์สี่ เรื่องด้วยกัน คือ ภาพยนตร์สารคดี Into the Abyss: A Tale of Death, A Tale of Life, The Life of David Gale, Dancer in the Dark และภาพยนตร์สารคดี Crime after Crime วงเสวนาภาษาหนังแต่ละเรื่อง
วงเสวนาหัวข้อ “ความรุนแรงในสังคมไทย: กรณีศึกษา โทษประหารชีวิต นิทรรศการโปสเตอร์ “Death is Not Justice” และกิจกรรมปฏิบัติการเพือ ่ ปกป้อง คุ้มครอง สิทธิมนุษยชน กิจกรรมสัปดาห์ภาพยนตร์สิทธิมนุษยชน “เทศกาลหนัง มีชีวิต” จัดขึ้นเพื่อนาเสนอมุมมองอีกด้านหนึ่งเกี่ยวกับ ความรุนแรงในสังคม และความผิดพลาดที่อาจกเกิดขึ้น ได้ในกระบวนการยุติธรรม สะท้อนให้เห็นและฉุกคิดถึง โทษประหารชีวิตและกระบวนการยุติธรรม! ชมบรรยากาศกิจกรรมสัปดาห์ภาพยนตร์สิทธิมนุษยชน “เทศกาลหนังมีชีวิต” ได้ที่เฟสบุ๊แอมเนสตี้ฯ ประเทศไทย www.facebook.com/AmnestyThailand

From 13-15 October 2012, Amnesty International Thailand held the Activism Workshop in Bangkok. Aligns with AI Thailand’s strategic direction to empower activist group to be able to critically reflect on and analyze the death is not justice, and issues affecting their communities, as well as increase their capacity to actively contribute to AI’s growth and activism objectives.

3 October 2012: Human Rights Film at Rajabhat Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai. It is impressive and mind opening to show the film about the errors criminal justice system, “The Green Mile”, along with movie talk ’Human Rights and Criminal Justice system in Thai society’, and the Death is Not Justice poster exhibition
12 October 2012: Human Rights Film at Mahasarakham University, Mahasarakham. It was consisted of the film, The Green Mile starring Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan an Oscar-nominated performance as a death row inmate in the film (has died aged 54 after heart attack), along with movie talk ‘Death is Not Justice’, and the Death is Not Justice poster exhibition.
Amnesty International Thailand in collaboration with Buku Books & More organized a Human Rights Film Series. ระหว่างวันที่ 29-31 ตุลาคม 2555 The series, running October ณ ร้านหนังสือบูคู จ.บัตตานี 29 to 31 at the Buku Books & More, Pattani, was consisted ฉายภาพยนตร์ 3 เรื่องด้วยกัน คือ The of three films, The Life of Life of David Gale, 12 Angry Man David Gale, 12 Angry Man, และ Dancer in the Dark and Dancer in the Dark, along ในวันสุดท้ายของเทศกาลมีเสวนาหัวข้อ with the “Death is Not Justice” “กระบวนการยุติธรรม” โดย ศิโรตม์ poster exhibition, and closed คล้ามไพบูลย์ นักรัฐศาสตร์อสิ ระ with roundtable discussion ‘Criminal Justice System’.
