FLOW&FOCUS FAST­FORWARD is an Artist­In­Residence project and exhibition curated by SinQuenza. The topic of this years exhibition was: DEPRODUCTION. With the intention to ask for attention on the theme degrowth. The residency lasted for 25 days and hosted in total 15 international artists & performers from Iran, Poland,US, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Sint Maarten and Chile. They lived and developed their work, live on the festival­terrain for short periods of 5, 10 or 15 days. This gave them the opportunity to be directly in contact with their public and fellow artists. Using performances, conversations, interventions & installations in search for sustainable ways of living, consuming and creating.

“LESS PRODUCTION, MORE IMPACT”

CULTUREEL TERRAS DE KAAIJ: A music, art & food festival in a small harbour of Nijmegen.

The first edition was in 2012 where it started with a Bed & Breakfast­Boat. In two years it grew out to a two months event with live concerts, exhibitions, a library, performances, workshops, workplaces and an open­air­kitchen. In 2013 the festival got in two months over 10.000 visitors, and offered a stage to about 500 artists and musicians. In 2014 was the 3rd edition of De Kaaij. In 2014 a new element was an Artist­In­Residence program, curated by Bo Smits, Sarah Bijlsma and SinQuenza.
