E-bike tuning opens up exciting opportunities for bike enthusiasts to exploit the full potential of their e-bikes. Highly sophisticated tuning chips from Speedbox, PearTune, VOL-Speed, BADASS and POLINI E-BIKE can significantly increase the performance and speed of the e-bike, making the riding experience much more dynamic and exciting.
Virtually any standard bike motor such as Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano, Brose, Panasonic, Bafang and many more is supported. In this catalog we present all motors and tuning modules. Legal Notice: E-bike tuning might not be permitted on the public roads of your country. Please check before using.

What the VOLspeed V2/V4 tuning module offers:
All settings, such as speed limit, control behavior and wheel circumference, can be made conveniently via the display. PC or smartphone are not required. In addition, the motor power is no longer reduced abruptly at maximum support in the so-called “dynamic mode”, which significantly reduces the unsightly “wall effect”.

And off you go! This is exactly what the abbreviation “MSO” (Max Speed Off) from the Czech manufacturer PearTune stands for. With the MSO 4.0 tuning module, the 25 km/h speed limit is removed and the desired top speed can be set according to personal preference. The module is installed invisibly on the engine and activated or deactivated using the operating buttons on the display. It is suitable for all Mastermind, Mission Control and TCU displays.

This SpeedBox B.Tuning tuning module connects the e-bike to the smartphone. The free app can be used not only to control the module, but also to read out all the technical data. The display shows real values and the motor can be locked via the software to keep thieves at bay. The Czech manufacturer SpeedBox has hit the jackpot with this module.

For the Speedbox tuning modules for Bosch and Yamaha engines, we have provided a schematic representation of the compatible displays online with the article illustrations.
The SpeedBox 1.0/1.1 tuning module is used to the speed limit of up to 50 km/h and nothing stands in the way of a nothing stands in the way. SpeedBox 1.0 for BOSCH Smart System does not work with e-bikes that have a magnetic disk on the valve.

With the SpeedBox 2.0 tuning chip, you can freely adjust the speed limiter of the e-bike. Once the chip has been installed, correct data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily distance and range are shown on the e-bike display.

The badassBox 4 transmits a contactless modified signal to prevent the speed limiter without any electrical connection or intervention in the engine electronics. The engine does not need to be opened and remains undamaged. In principle, an incorrect speed is displayed.

The POLINI HI-SPEED module offers an easy way to increase the speed limit of an e-bike and make full use of its performance, with quick and uncomplicated installation and removal.

The popular SyncDrive drives are the result of a collaboration between the Taiwanese e-bike manufacturer Giant and the Japanese company Yamaha. These drives are based on Yamaha
The 250W mid-motor offers a torque of 60 Nm. A special feature is the automatic support mode, in which special sensors determine the required motor support and adjust it automatically.This allows the rider to concentrate fully on urban traffic without being distracted by manual gear changes. This drive is based on a revised version of the Yamaha PW drive for city e-bikes.
The GIANT SyncDrive Sport is a 250W mid-motor with a high torque of 80 Nm. This sporty drive is a real all-rounder and is mainly used on touring and trekking e-bikes (e.g. Giant Quick E+, Stance E+, Explore E+, Toughroad E+). The motor responds to even the slightest pedal pressure and offers a very natural power delivery.
Introduced in 2021, based on the Yamaha PW-X3 motor, 85Nm and up to 400% motor support.

This drive offers a comfortable and natural riding experience and is ideal for recreational rides and daily commuting. The support levels range up to 300%.
This powerful model is specially designed for use in e-mountainbikes. The SyncDrive Pro motor is based on the powerful Yamaha PW-X and also offers 80 Nm of torque. Despite its high performance, the SyncDrive Pro motor is compact and weighs just 3.1 kg (the SyncDrive Life and Sport motors weigh 3.48 kg each). The SyncDrive Pro drive is used in particular in the high-performance e-bikes in the GIANT SyncDrive series, such as the Trance E+ and Fathom E+ models.

CAN or UART? You need to disconnect the display plug on your e-bike. The shape of the connector will tell you whether your e-bike uses UART or CAN communication.
Determine the number of pins: Simply remove the protective cover of the motor and check whether the speed sensor plug that leads into the frame of the e-bike has 3 pins, 4 pins or 8 pins.

The Flyon TQ HPR 120S is a high-performance motor specially developed for e-bikes. With 120 Nm of torque and an innovative pin-ring gearbox based on aerospace
technology, this motor is characterized by its high efficiency and low noise level. The standard TQ version has 50 Nm torque.
Sport: OLI's workhorse features a two-speed internal gearbox and the most accurate torque sensor in the industry. Carefully refined software delivers plenty of torque at very low revs to give the driver a smooth ride.
Edge: So much power that our engineers had to redesign all the electronics to manage it properly! 90 Nm, carefully distributed to provide a natural pedal feel in all circumstances.
It was a big surprise when POLINI launched its own drive unit for e-bikes and pedelecs on the market in September 2016. The E-P3 motor won over the experts and the successor
models E-P3+ and E-P3+ MX continued the success story. Well-known manufacturers such as Bianchi, 3 Basso, FM Bike and Olmo rely on the drives from Bergamo in Italy.
