Kobe Cares upholstery Made with Care : Where design meets functionality Kobe offers a selection of specially developed premium quality upholstery fabrics for the Care segment with a keen focus on the excellent balance between design and functionality. These fabrics are developed and tested with key requirements of the industry in mind, while maintaining the aesthetics of the signature Kobe style in interiors. We at Kobe are continuously following the requirements and trends in all sectors that we are active in. We embrace the challenge of bringing these to life in our design and development process. The array of upholstery fabrics in our Kobe Cares introductions are specially chosen to contribute towards a pleasant and safe healthcare and living environment. Kobe thrives to inspire the healthcare interiors with its bespoke designs, colors and innovations in textures, structures and techniques in the highest technical features. These fabrics meet the exacting standards and requirements of the CARE segment and are enhanced with applications for flame retardance, soil & stain resistance, water resistance, antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial properties.

Development of Kobe Cares upholsteries:

Nanotek NANOSSR Soil and Stain Pad Application: With this special pad application, the yarns in the fabric are impregnated with a bionic Nanotechnology bath that renders the soil and stain resistance property. This treatment is resistant to washing and dry cleaning.

ANTI-BAC Antimicrobial and Antibacterial & ANTI-F Antifungal Pad Application: In this step during the development of our healthcare products, the fabrics are treated with an application that instills activation of this resistance.

WPLAM Waterproof PU film: When the fabric has been treated with the pad applications above, a waterproof lamination is applied as the next step. A polyurethane membrane is added to the fabric which makes the resistance towards absorption of water through the fabric to the underlying material .

CONLAM Contract upholstery application: During this phase, the fabric is given an additional FR application and a non-woven laminating treatment with a specially developed technology for upholsteries.

Cleaning Instructions We advise contacting a professional cleaning specialist for all queries and services regarding cleaning and maintaining your upholstery products. Below are a few general tips for maintaining your upholsteries. For a general maintenance, regularly vacuum cleaning the surfaces and cleaning with a damp cloth is advised. Treat stains immediately to remove more easily. Most stains can be removed by wiping clean immediately as it occurs. For fresh stains soak up the liquid spill with an absorbent dry cloth or napkin. For any other residue, scrape it off with a spoon. Use a damp cotton cloth over the stain and replace it till the stain doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t give off anymore dirt. If you are going to use a stain removing agent without professional advice, test it on a small inconspicuous area first to check for any reaction.
