The Hamptons Brokerage Managers In the fourth quarter of 2018, the average sales price of Hamptons real estate east of Shinnecock Canal increased year over year by 3%, from $2.26M in 2017 to $2.33M in 2018, according to data compiled by the Long Island Real Estate Report. At the same time, the median sales price increased by 4% from $1.25M in 2017 to $1.30M in 2018. Overall, total units sold decreased 9% from 424 units in fourth quarter of 2017 to 384 units in the fourth quarter of 2018. As a result, total dollar volume dipped 7%, to $894M from $959M.
