The number of units sold in the Upper Cape has increased by 9% in 2015 as compared to 2014. Bourne has experienced a 15% decrease in the average selling price of a single family unit and a 4% decrease in condominium

Sandwich’s Single Family unit sales have increased by 19% and condominiums have declined by 25%. Sandwich’s average selling price of a single family has increased by 10% while condominiums have increased by 14%. Single Family sales in Mashpee have increased by 3% and condominiums by 8%. There has been a 5% decrease in the average selling price of single family homes and a 1% reduction in condominiums.

BARNSTABLE, YARMOUTH, DENNIS Located in the middle of Cape Cod, along the bicep to continue the arm analogy, the mid Cape consists of the towns of Barnstable, Yarmouth and Dennis. The number of units sold in the Mid Cape has increased by 2% in 2015 as compared to 2014. Barnstable’s average selling price in single family homes has decreased 1%, while the average selling price of condominiums has decreased 11%. The five Towns comprising the Lower Cape have experienced an increase in 2015 when compared to 2014. The number of units sold in the Lower Cape are up by about 16% in 2015 as compared
