It’s my pleasure to present the Ventura County and Surrounding Areas Market Update for the fourth quarter of 2018. According to the FLEX MLS, the results for single-family home sales in Ventura County and surrounding areas reflected an increase of 3.3% in average sales price, from $986K in Q4 2017 to $1.0M in Q4 2018. The total number of units sold decreased year over year, with 891 units sold in 2017 compared to 863 units sold in 2018, a decrease of 3.1%. Days on the market increased to 69 days, a 3.6% increase from the same time last year.
