Senior Vice President, Brokerage Manager It’s my pleasure to present the Ventura County and Surrounding Areas Market Update for the third quarter of 2020. According to the FLEX MLS, the results for single-family home sales in Ventura County and surrounding areas reflected an increase of 9.8% in average sales price, from $927K in Q3 2019 to $1.02M in Q3 2020. The total number of units sold increased year over year, with 1,570 units sold in 2019 compared to 1,883 units sold in 2020, an increase of 19.9%. Days on the market decreased to 62 days, a 4.4% decrease from the same time last year. Abounding with natural beauty and over 15,000 acres of open space, Thousand Oaks/ Newbury Park had a 22% decrease in days on market, from 58 in Q3 2019 to 45 in Q3 2020. Calabasas, the youngest city in Los Angeles County, had a 37% increase in total units sold, from 78 in Q3 2019 to 107 in Q3 2020.
