Vice President, Brokerage Manager It’s my pleasure to present the Ventura County and Surrounding Areas Market Update for the third quarter of 2019. According to the FLEX MLS, the results for single-family home sales in Ventura County and surrounding areas reflected an increase of 3.8% in average sales price, from $1.00M in Q3 2018 to $1.04M in Q3 2019. The total number of units sold increased year over year, with 1,063 units sold in 2018 compared to 1,151 units sold in 2019, an increase of 8.3%. Days on the market increased to 61 days, a 5.4% increase from the same time last year. Abounding with natural beauty and over 15,000 acres of open space, Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park had a 10% increase in average sales price, from $859K in Q3 2018 to $945K in Q3 2019. Calabasas, the youngest city in Los Angeles County, had a 23% increase in total units sold, from 64 in Q3 2018 to 79 in Q3 2019.
