Born and raised in Kent Ohio, Bill graduated Kent State University, in 1977 with a degree in Telecommunications. During college, Bill realized that he wanted something else. Thus, he embarked on a music career and in the early 1980s he toured, as the leader of a band called Expression. In 1982, after recovering from a serious injury, he moved to Chicago and shifted to a career in entertainment. His first bit-part in a movie came in 1982 in an American Playhouse film titled "The Killing Floor". By the following summer, Bill was landing featured bit-parts and stand-in work on several films. He got his first speaking role, in 1984, in the TV movie, "The Impostor" later that year in Dallas, TX. Over the next five years, Bill kept busy with print ads and industrial shows, and played his first alien character, “Mr. Spock� (from the original 'Star Trek' series) in an industrial film at the Dallas Convention Center for the Oracle Software Company. In 1992, Bill Blair entertained attendees at the Busch Gardens water park called Adventure Land. Bill got his big break when he met makeup designer, Richard Snell while filming 'Demolition Man'. This led Bill to his first work on the TV movies of 'Alien Nation'. Bill Blair became a regular on 'The Division' and the HBO Series, 'Carnivale', as well as 'Saving Grace', 'Justified', 'Raising Hope', 'iCarly', 'The Defenders', 'How I Met Your Mother', 'NCIS', 'Mad Men', 'Modern Family', 'Mistresses', '2 Broke Girls' and many others Bill has also appeared in 'Blades of Glory', 'The Artist', 'The Muppets', 'Nightcrawler', 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2', 'ARGO', as well as TV series, such as; 'Star Trek: Voyager', 'Enterprise', 'The X-Files', 'The Invisible Man', 'Drew Carey', 'The District', 'Crossing Jordan', 'King of Queens', 'Will and Grace', 'Yes, Dear!', 'Friends', 'Desperate Housewives' and 'Criminal Minds'. His impressive celebrity client list includes: Betty White, Renee Taylor (The Nanny), Dyan Cannon, Denise Richards, Jodie Sweetin (Full House), Timberlee Chanel (Grey's Anatomy), the girls from Glee, Shawn King (wife of Larry King), Lindsay Clubine (Deal or No Deal), Ursula Burton (The Office), Rachelle Carson-Begley (Living with Ed), Carolina Bacardi (Bacardi Rum), Lauren Velez (Dexter), Patrika Darbo, Nadia Bjorlin and Leann Hunley (Days of Our Lives), Katerina Graham (Vampire Diaries), Kristin Dos Santos (E! Pol' Atteu was friend and personal designer to the late Anna Nicole Smith, and guest starred in the Anna Nicole reality show. He created her spectacular gown for the VH1 "Big in 04" which landed her on StarMagazine's Best Dressed list; and has appeared as a celebrity fashion designer on Dr. Phil. Pol' was inducted into American History by creating the Inaugural ball gown worn by California's Former First Lady Sharon Davis, which was also donated to the State of California's State Capital Museum; alongside former Inaugural gowns worn by previous First Ladies which can now be seen on exhibit throughout the U.S.A. and Europe. He recently created his charitable foundation The Pol' Atteu Charitable Fund in memory of his beloved mother Ani Atteukenian, who succumbed to breast cancer, which helps children infected by the disease.

Sir Jones Magazine recently sat down with Patrik & Pol' to get to know them better…. SJM: When did you know without any doubt that you wanted to be in the entertainment industry? Patrik: When I was a kid in catholic school, I was involved in all the theater activities. I was always the kid that stood out in the crowd. I loved to entertain people and was always into the latest fashion growing up. I was a trendsetter and used to hang out on Melrose because that was what the cool kids did. When I was in high school I played the mortician in “Life and Death of Sneaky Fitch” and I kind of stole the show! I was always fascinated with celebrities and the Royal Family in Europe so I knew I would one day follow my dreams and make them a reality www.SirJonesMag.us


Pol: When I was ten years old I was the main kid in an "Oh Boy” Pizza commercial and I loved being in front of the camera and then when the commercial was on TV and I watched myself, I knew that's what I wanted to do when I grew up. Then, a few years later, I was watching “The Love Boat” on TV and Julie the Cruise Director was having a fashion show and I was so fascinated with the whole glamour and glitz of it all, that I knew on that day I would be a famous fashion designer. So, I worked hard through college and design school and made those dreams happen. What inspires you? Patrik: Life and love inspire me. Being so lucky as to wake up every day to wonderful man and my best friend, makes my life worth living. Knowing that we are this amazing team, a formidable force and a power couple that no one can tear apart is the ultimate inspiration. That fact that we have built an amazing life together and raised a beautiful, smart, healthy and happy daughter together.

When did you realize you had reached your goals in this industry? Patrik: To be honest, I don't think you ever reach your goal is this industry. It is forever evolving and I have learned you have to evolve with it to stay on top. I think one of the most exciting times for me and really when I realized this is where I want to be is when our episode of "Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis” ran on BRAVO and we were in New York in Times Square to get Theater tickets and we are recognized by so many people and people kept stopping us and asking to take photos with us. It took so much longer to get the tickets, but the delay was worth every second. Pol: After manufacturing for years through the country and internationally, I was then able to secure my Beverly Hills location in the Golden Triangle. It is my flagship store and I have been in the same location for over 20 years.

What was your favorite TV show you appeared on to date and why? Patrik: My favorite show would have to be New Money on E! Television. This was the show that I shut down Rodeo Pol: Life and beauty and of course fashion! Pol: When I was guest fashion designer expert on Dr. Phil I was able to do an amazing make-over on a plus sized girl with low selfesteem. I was able to show her that she truly was beautiful inside and make her her dreams of being beautiful on the outside come true. this then to have in captured on TV, which means it is forever on the world we called the web and always available for people to see that special day. When she came on stage and said Thank You for making her wish come true and told me how she felt like the princess at the ball. It was heartfelt and sincere and i was so happy to see that realization for her.

SJM: What do you enjoy most about your career? Patrik: I love working with all kinds of people from all walks of life. I have two careers. May “day job” is an agent for models and actors and I love what I do. It's a “personal high” for me as an agent is to find and discover someone that is brand new that has never done this before. A fresh face with no or limited experience and make them over and then book them for a major commercial or or major campaign and then when that comes out - “I'm like - WOW I did that” - I made that person's dreams come true. I made that all happen. As far as my TV career, I have had so much fun shooting so many different types of reality shows with my fiancé', Pol' Atteu, and I think in a way it's brought us closer together. We love to entertain people and when people come up to us (from all over the world) because they recognize us from one of the shows we have done, and ask to take pics with us, we are always happy to oblige and it's a great feeling to know that we are making people laugh and smile witnessing our antics on TV. Plus, for eternity, we have made our “mark” on the world.

Pol: Meeting the people that are wearing my gowns to their most special occasions and designing their individual looks for each person. On top on that, working with all types of celebrities, including previous First Ladies, to help them create the most unique style for them and then seeing my creation come to life on the red carpets they walk. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction to see my gowns on famous people on TV and major award shows. My celebrity clientele includes, Betty White, Vanna White, Patrika Darbo, Sharna Burgess, Katerina Van Graham, Dyan Cannon, Lauren Vellez, Nadja Bjorlin, Leann Hunley, Denise Richards, Renee Taylor and of course the Late Anna Nicole Smith, who is buried in my final gown I created for her. www.SirJonesMag.us

SJM: Can we expect another book from you? Patrik: I'm sure we will be working on another Anna Nicole book, as our first book “Anna Nicole Smith Portrait of An Icon� was such a success, we have much more to share. We are always writing and working on on monthly travel article for Zodi Habit Magazine, which chronicles our explorations and globetrotting adventures and showcases destinations that we inspire our readers will want to travel to. Pol: Absolutely! I am always inspired when I write and I have so many stories to tell.


SJM: What is the best way for your fans to know what you're working on? Facebook/Twitter? Do you post for your own sites or do you have your assistants do the posts? Patrik: I am constantly on social media. I update all it myself. We do have assistants that will repost for us, but usually we are involved in putting out the first post of what and where we are doing. You can find me on all the following under my name, PatrikSimpson on all social media. I love responding to fans and friends that we meet along our travels. I am really good about answering messages on all my social media. I love it when people reach out. Pol: You can find me on all the following under my name, PolAtteu on all social media. Myself and my assistant Lady D post on all my social media. I love getting comments and posts and try to respond to all it. SJM: Tell us something new, something bold that you've never told any other magazine‌news tip :) Patrik: Our very first reality show we appeared on was the Anna Nicole Show and Anna Nicole was in development with us to produce our own show. Sadly, she passed away before that we could ever shoot anything or start the process of beginning the show. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her and her buddy icon from AOL was HotSmoochieLips and it's still in my buddy list and so it's my daily reminder of her.

Pol: I have a fear of failure and so it keeps me working hard and striving to be the best at everything I do. That is why I am so competitive, sometimes TOO competitive. www.SirJonesMag.us
