ced l young Notable producer Ced L Young, has likely worked with the most diverse bed of Hip Hop talent possible. From Gucci Mane to The Game, his tracks have graced a slew of mixtapes and albums, giving him a quite multi-faceted discography. With a new year approaching, Ced will also embrace the artistry side of the industry and continue spreading his love for music beyond boundaries of instrumentation. What inspired you to make the transition from Producer to Artist? I want to give my music the best chance possible to reach its fullest potential. DJ Toomp has been mentoring me since 2006 and thats who I get my industry wisdom from. The most exciting part of the transition is heading into the unknown. The hunger and heart I have makes me different. What can people expect from your next few efforts? Classic material, anthems...and cool stories. On the production end: samples, break beats, tradional R&B.... fresh minds. What are your plans for 2011? I will solidify a home for my production company to release our own artists and projects, both musical and non-musical on an international level. My current projects include my group The GTC, which consist of Angelitti, myself, Ancient Grecco, and Mike Fresh. I must add too that Dj Toomp’s new artist Re is the next best rapper out of Atlanta.
