MMSU eSports cup hails CBEA as champions

After a two-day intense battle, the Mobile Lgends Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament has come to an end.

College of Business, Economics and Accountancy (CBEA) Alonzo was hailed victorious after dominating the tournament, defeating the College of Art and Sciences (CAS) Whitelist on the final round at the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) Student Center last January 25.

Driven with unstopabble defense and offense mechanisms, Alonzo paved their way from the elimination to the final round, securing every spot to accomplish their mission.

Alonzo showed no mercy to the Whitelist

during the final round sweeping them off with a clean finish, 3-0. A couple of engagements have been witness throughout the games in favor of Alonzos. Their momentum remained consistent which eventually extinguished the fire of Whitelist.

During the last minutes of the third round, Alonzo poured their best to secure the uncontested win. Seconds later, cheers have swallowed the building as they celebrate thier sweet win.

According to CBEA Alonzo's team Captain Adrian Charles Tuddao, "It was an intense match all throughout the tournament and we are lucky to surpassed the defending champs, COE to the moon. Even though we defeated my varsity team, we still remained friends and honored the value of sportsmanship."

"We are happy that our team CAS Whitelist are able to join again the final round considering that the last time we were on the finals was during the first try out of MMSU's search for a mlbb team," said Charles Antonio of the opposing team.

In addition, he also stated that there is a lot of team errors, miss communication and also pressure coming from their organization (CAS) because they are expecting them to become the champion.

Adrian Charles G Tuddao, Ramon Salvador Castilla, Naim Mohammad Guro, Arjay Ramos, Reign Cedrick Agulay and Charles Mcdeiniel Yabut, are students from CBEA that represented this college and ranked 1st in the MLBB eSports tournament.

The said tournament is part of the activities of MMSU'S 45th Foundation Anniversary, which aims to support and strengthen the eSports community in the university.
