hey sealies! i hope you’re having a great summer so far! for those of you in summer school, you got this, only a few more weeks!! thank you everyone for continuing to come out to both home and division events even during your summer! for the upcoming months, we have lots in store including; beach clean ups, socials, and much much more! now is also the time to help us promote to the incoming students, so feel free to bring them along and sign them up for some of our events! as always, thank you for everything this month and i can’t wait for this next year! Hey hey seals! I hope your summers have been going well :)) It honestly hasn’t been too hot for me yet so I’m chilling with the weather right now because it’s the perfect weather to go volunteering! OTC was a blast and the food pantry event was so so fun, so if you sealies missed out, don’t worry~ we have more events coming so keep an eye out hehe. This event is a yearly event that never fails to amaze volunteers! Held at the Griffith Park Observatory, volunteers get to help out participants in the race while simultaneously seeing one of the most beautiful views California has to offer!

Giving food back to our community and helping families in need! Our Savior Community Center Tuesdays and Thursdays 10AM-1PM

The ice cream fundraiser was extremely well thought out and executed excellently. There were 3 minigames, water gun tag, hot potato, and water balloon catch. The best of which had to be the water gun tag. There was a bunch
of
ice
cream
and
toppings for the members to beat the heat. Speaking of of toppings, on top of all that, we ended the event with a firing squad of water balloons on the dlt! - Chris Tu | Historian

WHAT: Meals on Wheels with Seals is a great social event that involves volunteers decorating lunch bags. These lunch bags are delivered to seniors and adults with disabilities, brightening their days and providing them with nutrition, becoming widely popular over the course of the pandemic!

The Kiwanis Fireworks stand event was a great service event for all the volunteers that went! It was a hot summer day, but the volunteers were able to experience how it was like to sell fireworks to others, working the booth and synergizing along the way!

What is an OTC?? OTC stands for Officer Training Conference! It is a yearly event that is held to get officers ready for their positions and learn more about Key Club!
What do you do??
Officers have the option to present or be an audience member. There are a variety of presentations, including public speaking, fundraisers, etc. Throughout the whole experience, key clubbers are able to meet new people and create new relationships!!

— A Tribute to Jack Xia — Jack Xia is a active member who has contributed so much of his time and dedication to our club and helping us serve our community. He brings great energy to those around him and always puts effort into his tasks. We are extremely happy to call him one of our members of the month!
