Heya seals! July was a really fun (and hot!) month that honestly passed by so quickly. I hope all of y’all rested well and have had a good vacation so far! As we march on into August and our new school year, I just want to thank everyone who has volunteered this summer and wish everyone good luck as we hop into school again. I don’t know about y’all but I’m definitely not ready for summer to be over yet so don’t mind me as I start praying for classes ಥ_ಥ

The Hacienda Heights 4th of July Parade was a very fun event where volunteers were able to help out while simultaneously watching the show. Members were asked to help with set up and cleanup and were also given breaks to recharge themselves from the heat!

What did you do? I help set up tents, tables, stations, and a trash can Did you like the event? Yup it’s fun Name one thing you liked about it Hanging out with Chris and Juan

A food pantry is an event where communities give back to those in need by giving out produce and canned goods. Volunteers help out by packing and sorting the goods, as well as assisting with check-in and verification.

What is a DCM? DCM stands for Division Council Meeting and it is a monthly gathering of all the clubs in a division to go over updates and recognize outstanding members!

Recap: For July, DLT decided to do dare fundraisers to have fun and involve members! Dares ranged from members choosing pfps to dying hair!
