Thank you for your interest in advertising with SistersSpace.com. SistersSpace is the fastest growing online community for Black women, offering a place where Sisters from around the world can connect and be enriched through education, motivation, and inspiration. When you advertise with SistersSpace, you can rest assured that your products and services will have the attention of a well-defined demographic. The women who frequent SistersSpace are professional women who care about their quality of life. They are single women, married women, mothers, doctors, lawyers, college students, and educators among so many other things. Fundamentally, however, they are Black Women whose interests are as diverse as the African Diaspora. In keeping with our mission of fostering a positive atmosphere that celebrates the Black woman, we are selective in our accepting of advertising requests. Due to limited space and a strong desire to keep all of our product offerings easy to view and use, we only feature advertising that will directly benefit our members. While SistersSpace is indeed a business, we are in the business of serving our members. It is our intention that this advertising guide would answer many of the questions you may have. Vision, Mission,Values
History: SistersSpace.com was born on September 15, 2008. “I was doing a Google search for images of Black Women, and what came up was appalling,” says 26 year-old SistersSpace.com Founder, Nona C. Jones. “The women were wearing g-strings or standing in provocative poses. I said to myself, ‘There is so much more to the Black Woman than these images suggest.’ SistersSpace was born after that moment.” Mission: SistersSpace exists to foster a spirit of Sisterhood among Black Women from around the world while celebrating and nourishing every aspect of our lives; mind, body, spirit, beauty, career, finance, relationships, and lifestyle. Vision: ♦ SistersSpace will be the online community of choice for Black Women, with a global
membership of more than 1,000,000 ladies by the Summer of 2010 .
♦ SistersSpace will offer the latest news and information available to enhance the quality of
life for Black Women.
♦ SistersSpace will have a thriving portfolio of services, products, and programs to meet the
needs of members and visitors.
♦ SistersSpace will help every Black woman achieve her dreams by being the hub for tools
and resources that support homeownership, entrepreneurship, higher education, employment, and other forms of financial and personal investment.
♦ SistersSpace will be the leading online resource for Black women on Breast Cancer and
HIV; two diseases that are disproportionately claiming the lives of Sisters.

Member Profile The common thread among all members of SistersSpace is that they are Black Women. Categorically, this includes African American, Jamaican American, Haitian American, African, South American, British, Puerto Rican, Columbian, and more. Members are as diverse as the Black culture, but at the core of every members identity is that of being a Black Woman.
