EVERYDAY EDGY
Distressed jeans are my favorite. The End.
favorite denim
THE MOST FLATTERING DRESS This is it. A simple tank dress (comes in several colors – ) with a few great details that separate it from the other tank dresses of the world: the criss-cross hem (draws the eyes inward -which, yes, is a good thing!) and singular side ruching for a waist cinching fit. So yes, you can rock the dress alone, but I know what some of you might be thinking. It’s too tight to be worn alone. And I agree. Or should I say, it’s not the look for everyone. But I like to think of this dress as a great base for layering. And if you are pregnant, this dress TOTALLY works!! Just size up and rock that bump. Throw a drapey cardigan over if you want booty coverage, and you will be comfy and chic.

BLUSHING
Sometimes monochrome is the way to go.

HOW TO WEAR A BODYSUIT I think I remember wearing a bodysuit back in high school. It might have been crushed velvet. Yep. Definitely was. The whole concept of a bodysuit, admittedly, is a little odd. A leotard under your outfit? The verdict? They are chic and polished and can be worn a bajillion ways and therefore I’m deeming the bodysuit a versatile wardrobe staple.
FAVORITE WHITE DENIM White denim you either love it or hate it. I’ve learned to maybe not wear it around my children or red wine... but sometimes white denim offers a clean slate. And yes I wear mine year round. So you can forget the whole Memorial to Labor Day rule.
THE MIDI SITUATION
Not too long, not too short. The midi dress is just right.
BOY MEETS GIRL
This outfit combo let’s me be comfortable, a little femme, a little boho, and even a little menswear inspired. All in all... I’d wear this everyday if I could.

THE WRAP DRESS
Structured meets soft. Comfortable meets chic.
COZY LITTLE DETAILS
It’s really all about the cardigan. The stitch details, the front tie, the hankerchief hem, and the six gorgeous colors it comes in.
JUMPING FOR JOGGERS Meet, the jogger. These basically feel like pajamas and they solve the I-don’t-like-shorts issue and the other issue of capri tights being too hot and too, well, tight! The jogger is the obvious solution. Oh, and they are cute so there’s that.
BOHEMIAN SPIRIT In the colder months, we play the layering game, and we are constantly trying to figure out which cardigan to put over which top and which scarf and how to tie it and don’t even get me started on the “unintentional” half-tucking. In the warmer months however, grab a breezy summer dress, cute sandals, a necklace (if you really want to pull it together) and done. When you only have to worry about ONE piece of clothing, sign us up, right?
SUMMER WEDDING Wedding season! I’m not sure if it’s the excuse to wear a pretty dress or the excuse to get a sitter for the night, but either way, a night out, celebrating love with an open bar, a little Earth Wind and Fire, and I’m there.
SIDEWALK STROLLING We all know the LBD and the fact that every girl needs one in her closet. But have you met her dreamy, whimsical (and much more comfortable) cousin: the romantic floral maxi dress. It’s a summer wardrobe staple – perfect for date nights, showers, summer weddings, and most definitely vacation ready.
SKIRTING THE ISSUE
Skirt trends seem to come and go the fastest... a few tried and true: the Pencil, the Denim and the Maxi.
BLACK TIE EVENT
Give me any excuse to feel like a princess for night. My take on black tie attire is classic with an eye catching detail.
BEST BLACK ONE PIECES
Just the like the LBD, every girl needs a black swim suit.
RAINBOWS AND UNICORNS
Bold colors pair best with natural accessories.... and the straw clutch is here to stay.
SUMMER FLINGS
That time I went to Miami.

THE NON-DENIM OUTFIT
It’s not often that I am not wearing jeans, but my go-to non-denim choice is always the skinny cargo.

BOOTIE SEASON...
Low heel or high heel? Answer: BOTH!
THE LEATHER JACKET
Meet the outfit maker and your solution to dressing up jeans and a tee. A leather jacket over a feminine dress is also always the perfect juxtaposition.
ALL IN THE DETAILS
Sometimes a leopard mule is all you need.

EFFORTLESSLY CHIC
This top by far is a reader favorite. So are these jeans. And while I am at it... the bag too.

THE NON-PUFFER JACKET
Some occasions call for a nice coat or jacket that isn’t puffy, but instead more structured with an eye catching fabric or print.
THE SLEEVE SITUATION
From ruffles, to bells, to balloon sleeves... this year was all about the arm interest.

FAUX LEATHER PANTS
These are basically like yoga pants, but you won’t get kicked off a plane if you wear them.
THE CHIC WINTER COAT
When the puffer just wont cut it.
HOW TO WEAR WINTER WHITE
I love wearing white in the colder weather months to create a softer palette. Adding fabrics like faux fur, leather or velvet create a lux rich look that is more reflective of the season. Sort of like sipping hot chocolate with whipped cream (the super fancy gourmet kind, of course).

MY MOM UNIFORM
If I had to describe my personal style in one word it would be (ohh the pressure!!)‌.comfortable? Sounds boring I know, but most of the time I have only a few moments to put together an outfit and I gravitate to what I know works well: distressed jeans, not so basic top, booties or sneaks.

OVER THE KNEE BOOTS
The secret to kicking your outfit up a notch...
HOLIDAY PARTY PREP
Every girl needs a go-to party dress. My advice? Stick with budget friendly options.... (so you can buy a new one every year!)
PRINT MIXING LIKE A PRO
The art to mixing prints? Stick with one color family and make sure the prints compliment each other - i.e. small print on one piece, large print on the other. And most definitely keep the rest of your outfit neutral.

SPARKLE AND SHINE
Black denim pants and oh so festive sequin tank paired with a tuxedo blazer and fringe lined heel is my new perfect NYE combo. get the look
JEWELED MULES To me there is nothing more classic than the black, white and camel color combination. And while wearing those colors together is one secret to looking chic, the question becomes, how can we bring these neutral colors to life this time of year? The real secret to looking chic is simple: classic colors with a hint of shine (and it’s all about the accessories).
TREAT YOURSELF
...to a pair of high waisted leggings. They are a truly beautiful invention.
FROM STUDIO TO STREET
Those layers that you just throw on.... and love to death.
HOLIDAY SHOES We all know someone (you know there is usually one in every family), the one that no matter what the occasion, always has the best shoes. Yes I am talking about the shoe lover! In my family, if I must confess, it’s me. Just call me the shoe guru.
