SHERMAN J. STUDIO

Artist, Judy Sherman, was classically trained in Italy, in the methods of the old masters, Judy’s canvases are painted in the traditional style using contemporary toys. The result is an interesting juxtaposition and narrative composition. The objects and their settings are intended to demonstrate a sense of comic word play and to invoke a spirit of nostalgia.

“With this combination I hope to tell a story, please the eye and elevate the soul”.

Judy’s work can be found in collections across Canada, United States, Ireland and Scotland. She is represented by galleries in Canada and the USA.
