Undergraduate majors in the School of Engineering and the School of Business will be assessed a 15 percent differential tuition surcharge based upon the in-state rate. Transferring to SIUE Transfer Admission Requirements
If you attended a regionally accredited institution and meet or exceed the following requirements, you will be admitted to SIUE.* l l

30 semester hours or more attempted post high school graduation: minimum cumulative 2.0 (C) GPA F ewer than 30 semester hours: must meet freshman admission requirements and must submit college transcript(s), high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores ACT is not required for those out of high school for more than five years
*Admission to individual academic programs is a separate process and may include additional requirements.
Transfer Credit An official credit evaluation takes place after you have been admitted to the University. You can get a general idea of what credits will transfer by checking the transfer equivalency guide, curriculum guide and other resources available at siue.edu/transfer. Also, the SIUE Office of Admissions can conduct an informal credit evaluation prior to admission.

The curriculum confirms the prerequisites for your intended major and courses that are highly recommended for completion prior to transfer. n Our Transfer Visit Days are designed specifically for you. Visit the SIUE campus to see what life may be like as an SIUE student (siue.edu/visit). n Submit your admission application and $40 fee up to 12 months in advance of desired term of entry using our mobile-friendly app at siue.edu/apply. Application deadline: four weeks prior to start of desired term.
