Sexual Assault Prevention Required Education Program •  “Not Anymore” •  Interactive online program •  Designed to prevent sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking •  ALL students, faculty and staff are required to complete online training each academic year •  Registration holds will be placed for students who do not complete training by the deadline siue.edu/not-anymore



Sexual Assault Prevention Education Prevention Education and Advocacy Center (PEACE) is a grant-funded program through the Violence Against Women Act to decrease gender-based violence on campus. More information on reporting sexual assault, services for victims, training, prevention and bystander information is available at siue.edu/peace.

Community-Oriented Policing (COP) Philosophy Delivery of Service •  Highly visible •  Approachable •  COP programs and presentations •  Foot patrols, as well as vehicle patrol in heavily populated areas during peak times 2018 •  Attended 400+ COP events •  Present at nearly every campus event •  Performed 11,000+ foot patrols •  Conducted 21,000+ building checks

University Police and Student Affairs •  Police officers work together with the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Conduct •  Police officers have discretion to arrest on state charges, issue a city ordinance violation, and/or refer students to Student Affairs, University Housing or Counseling Services •  Offenses involving violence are investigated and presented to the state’s attorney for prosecution

University Police Escort Service •  Police will escort students, faculty and staff from one campus location to another, or to a car in a campus parking lot •  Individuals who feel apprehensive about walking alone on campus should call for a police escort
