Our proximity to St. Louis offers students the benefit of internships, cooperative education opportunities and full-time employment with major corporations like The Boeing Company, Anheuser-Busch, Express Scripts and BJC Healthcare, just to name a few.
You can transfer to SIUE and complete your degree in one of 44 undergraduate and 70 graduate programs in the arts and sciences, business, education, engineering and nursing. The Schools of Dental Medicine and Pharmacy award a professional degree in dental medicine (D.M.D.) and pharmacy (Pharm.D.). SIUE offers a total of 169 areas of study including 55 undergraduate minors.
An SIUE education is an excellent and affordable investment—one that comes with a lifetime of benefits. SIUE has the lowest tuition and required fees of all four-year institutions in Illinois. Newly enrolled freshman and transfer undergraduate students pay a guaranteed tuition rate for four continuous academic years. The textbook rental program results in a significant cost savings. Transfer Admission Requirements If you attended a regionally accredited institution and meet or exceed the following requirements, you will be admitted to SIUE.* � 30
semester hours or more attempted, minimum cumulative 2.0 (C) GPA
� Fewer
than 30 semester hours, must meet freshman admission requirements, must submit college transcript(s); high school transcript and ACT/SAT score
� ACT
is not required for those out of high school for more than five years
*Admission to individual academic programs is a separate process and may include additional requirements.
Transfer Credit An official credit evaluation takes place after you have been admitted to the University. You can get a general idea of what credits will transfer by checking the transfer equivalency guide, curriculum guide and other resources available at siue.edu/transfer. Also, the SIUE Office of Admissions can conduct an informal credit evaluation prior to admission.
