Sunken Multi-Functional Space

The Sunken Plaza

The ceiling of the library is recessed for about a meter that created an opportunity for having a sunken space on top of it. The sunken area above can work as a multi-functional space, which is a slowpaced zone for those who want to read or chat during break time or lunch hour. It can be a used as a venue for outdoor lesson as well where students will be sitting on the steps. The climbing wall at the back is associated with the ceiling of the music room, that the wall can be divided into two parts with one side covered with mesh and the other side with handles placing all over the wall surface.
