With a new year comes new optimism and promise. the real estate market here in Florence has been very active of late. In fact, 2017 saw near record numbers in terms of the number of transactions and dollar volume sold, in recent history. And, the start of 2018 shows no signs of anything different. Despite slightly increasing interest rates (although historically still very low) demand for homes remains strong. Here at Coast we are gearing up for another good year. September 1972: Ted Simmoneau Jr. becomes sole stockholder of the firm. August 1, 1977: Leon H. Bucko becomes owner and President. 1980: Purchased Hwy. 101 property – formerly Hamburglers (Si’s Burgers) 1980: Branch office – Blue Hen location at 15th & Hwy. 101 May 2, 1983: Rick Cox Becomes owner and subsequently formed the modern day corporation. And thankfully, Florence is still the same in that respect, and also offers a wider variety of outdoor activities year round!
