THE LEGEND OF FENDER’S GARAGE: After Bob Welch’s Beachside Writers retreat in Yachats in 2010, Ed realized he was the only living person who knew the amazing details of the story surrounding his father’s Garage in the mountains of Colorado. starting off at 9 to 10 a.m. with a panel discussion covering all aspects of turning a manuscript or print book into an eBook. Then the ever-popular book fair with 60-65 participating authors and publishers of all genre takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. And for the first time, eBooks are allowed. The day winds up with an entertaining presentation by Keynote Speaker William Sullivan, starting at 4:15 p.m. about legendary folk heroes of the Northwest. And it includes Florence’s own Exploding Whale!
