The system for testing of hot filtration makes it possible to facilitate the filterability of viscous products hardly filterable at room temperature. The heating fluid covers the entire system including valves and holder. A control unit located within the system provides hot water at a steady temperature. Designed and built to withstand aggressive solvents. All parts that come into contact with the liquid are made of Pyrex glass and PTFE. The bottom container can be thermostated with hot water to maintain a constant temperature during the process. At the top the condenser can be fed with cold water to condense the vapors of solvents that are given off during the processing stages. The movement of the product to be tested is made with process air.

6 The filtration system is modular and can accommodate up to 2 disc holders in the line. The use of 2 disc holders in series permits testing the filtration capacity of the membranes. In addition to the holder, the following elements can be assembled to complete the method: a LIFTING pressurizable with sterile gas, a steel pressure regulator, valves and ventilation filter.

TEST filtrability

10 The systems of filterability can be constructed using disc holders and related membranes from 25mm up to 293 and timed valves and control instruments for analog control of pressure and temperature. The systems are designed for use during the filtration of filter aids like diatomaceous earth, activated charcoal or resins. The system is composed of the supply tank, generally pressurizable, control valves, membrane manuals and pressure gauges for the control of the pressure, all supported by a special frame in AISI304.

disk holders The main use of the disc holders is the filtration of liquids for testing membranes. But they can also be used for sampling in line with individual membranes (not disposable) or for comparative industrial production processes. Can be constructed with the containment tank liquid pressurizable for product filterability tests. They are designed to accommodate standard membranes of polymeric material with a thickness of up to 2mm. The standard dimensions of the membranes are: 25,47,143,293

Trolleys for disposable technology. The trucks are built to user specifications. They are equipped with revolving wheels; volumetric capacity and weight are a function of the bags to be supported and the number that will be stored. The stainless steel trolleys are designed with round tubes for easier cleaning in restricted areas, the shelves are designed for maximum cleaning of data and the utmost respect for the material stored. Trolleys with dimensions and geometry to support specific equipment and systems can also be constructed.
