Sixt wins the German Institute for Service Quality’s industry test for the third time Clear test winner in the Conditions and Service categories

Munich, 29 August 2013 – Germany’s biggest car rental company once again emerged as the clear winner in this year’s test conducted by the German Institute for Service Quality (Deutsches Institut für Service-Qualität, DISQ) on behalf of news channel n-tv. The company was awarded by the Institute in 2010 and 2012 as well. This is the second time in succession that Sixt has outdone its rivals, scoring especially in terms of its conditions and outstanding service. For instance, the company provided the best telephone service, exceptionally quick and high quality e-mail handling, and a very clear, customer-oriented website. All in all, Sixt is Germany’s best car rental company. The German Institute for Service Quality and news channel n-tv assessed a number of different aspects of German car rental firms. They examined companies’ terms and prices on the basis of a range of model queries. Sixt offered the lowest prices for many of the combinations of rental duration and vehicle category that were enquired about. Furthermore, the Institute tested service quality by means of covert phone calls and e-mail enquiries, and assessed the user-friendliness of websites. Again, Sixt’s results were significantly better than all of its rivals.
