Inspired by Anna Pavlova , the famous ballerina raised from poverty and creator of the modernday pointe shoe , Pavlova seeks to produce high-end dance wear and diverse toned pointe shoes to promote the need for diversity in the dance industry. The company strives to instill the love of ballet and to be a leader in providing the appropriate dance wear necessary for ballerinas across the United States.
From the important element of human form in dance, the facility features the design elements of line and form . This is evident in the form of elements and finishes such as linear light fixtures , a custom curved reception desk , and furniture with clean lines . The unique designs inspired by classic New York City dance studios will be accomplished through the use of wooden floors natural light and glass walls

Community
Communal seating arrangements and emphasis on social spaces utilized to provide employees or guests a space to socialize. Glass walls also utilized in spaces that do not require privacy to allow visual connectivity
Environmentally friendly furniture and finishes utilized with the goal of keeping sustainability important in the process. This includes recycled materials and low VOC’s where possible. LED lighting also used to conserve energy in the building
Creates recognizable branding by utilizing brand inspiration and values throughout space. Accomplished by utilizing famous ballet inspired paintings by Edgar Degas, suitable materials and furniture, and a custom textile

Break room located right off reception and away from the agents, workstations, and offices to separate the noisy areas from quiet areas
Steelcase Ergonomic task chairs utilized to promote comfort and well-being by allowing it to flex in multiple dimensions for a more customizable fit
Coaching rooms, locker room, and nurse’s station located adjacent to their workstations for easy access
The large training room conveniently located on the first floor near the elevator to allow for easy navigation for visitors

Administration Assistants placed adjacent to both sets of managers to maximize communication
Offices located centrally and off a window wall to ensure equality and minimize a sense of hierarchy amongst mangers
Mangers, directors, and corporate director offices feature a glass curtain wall to promote transparency and allow more interaction and more natural day light
Floor commons available for anyone to use in the office, accomplishing accidental encounters with employees of other departments to interact
An additional copy/coffee bar is featured in the agent area for convenience to the workers
Workstations positioned where information cannot be easily read by people walking through the major egress of the building
Lounging area right off of the stair and near the south window wall allows employees and guests to take a break when needed
Monumental stair located near elevator to promote movement and exercise in the workplace
