Concept & Design Intent

Inspired by Anna Pavlova , the famous ballerina raised from poverty and creator of the modernday pointe shoe , Pavlova seeks to produce high-end dance wear and diverse toned pointe shoes to promote the need for diversity in the dance industry. The company strives to instill the love of ballet and to be a leader in providing the appropriate dance wear necessary for ballerinas across the United States.

From the important element of human form in dance, the facility features the design elements of line and form . This is evident in the form of elements and finishes such as linear light fixtures , a custom curved reception desk , and furniture with clean lines . The unique designs inspired by classic New York City dance studios will be accomplished through the use of wooden floors , natural light , and glass walls
