Brief 4 Crossover Festival Collaboration with Jonathon Finch OUGD303 / FMP BA (Hons) Graphic Design LCAD The Identity was based on the word ‘Crossover’ taking an ‘X’ as a cross and experimenting with this within the logo to create the word ‘Crossover’ in different ways. The X / O creates a visually strong and contemporary brand that looks both youthfully and creative. The X / O was developed into a pattern and continued through all promotion outlets. The colours chosen were Black / White and a spot colour which we made in screenprinting, ‘Neon Salmon’. These colours together with the X / O have created a visually strong and memorable brand that stands out from the rest. P. 2 / 8

Brief 4 Crossover Festival Collaboration with Jonathon Finch OUGD303 / FMP BA (Hons) Graphic Design LCAD The main exhibition guide is created using a mix of grey, salmon, tracing and white stock. This continues the colour palette of the brand. The tracing paper pages can physically Crossover the pages joing the creatives and their work together. Each collaboration has a double page spread in which their work and info is documented. The work of the collaborations is diplayed in a contemporary layout style. We introduced the Letter Gothic STD for the secondary font throughout the publication. We both worked on the publication together, I came up with the idea for the layout of the book and tracing paper divides and then Jonathon took the idea further into a finished design. I worked on the work picture pages following on from my previous layout on the poster designs. P. 7 / 8

Brief 4 Crossover Festival Collaboration with Jonathon Finch OUGD303 / FMP BA (Hons) Graphic Design LCAD Mock-ups of the exhibition space branding/ signage and outdoor promotion. We used the Cornerhouse Exbition space as it is located in the heart of Manchester one of the top cultural European cities for design. It’s an up and coming hotspot for creative talent. Also the Cornerhouse is located on the corner of a main crossroad outside of Oxford St Station therefore continuing the ‘Crossover’ brand further. The exhibition branding follows the ‘Crossover’ brand using large scale black and grey lines that follow throughout the room that ‘Cross’ on places creating the ‘X’ , a neon salmon ‘O’ higlights this crossover and this is where a collaboration will be displayed with information on the two creatives and the piece they have made together. The posters continue through city branding, billboards etc and the exhibition info guide is used within the display case infront of the station to show where the exhition will be taking place.
