PLANT PARTY — NEW!!!

Explore five art stations with a different theme each week. Children engage in ageappropriate projects at their own pace and in their own way. Each class will end on a musical note with singing and dancing. Aprons are provided but wear your grubbies.

HIP HOP & TUMBLING Explore both hip hop & tumbling. Children will learn basic hip hop dance moves to fun kid's music while building confidence, coordination, and rhythm. SQUARE DANCING Square Dancing is lots of fun. In addition this activity has all of the elements of a healthy life style! Enjoy the light aerobic exercise, the mental stimulation of learning a new skill and the pleasure of making new friends. GROWING HEALTHY GARDEN SOIL WITH COMPOST Your backyard soil provides the foundation to your plants - and the healthier your soil, the better your plants will grow! In this course you'll learn how to best care for your soil. We'll cover the practical aspects of soil science, teach how to build compost piles and use worm bins, then help you understand how to most effectively use the resulting composted material in your landscape and edible gardens. In the end, you'll be equipped to harvest your own free compost while reducing the amount of yard and food waste that ends up on trucks and in our landfill. This is a continuation of the Level 1 class. Students will learn an intermediate form of martial arts which promotes respect, self esteem, leadership and self-confidence.

This class continues teaching the techniques of kicking, punching, blocking, striking and self-defense while adding elbow & knee strikes, multiple combinations, intermediate forms and intermediate self-defense techniques. The Beginner Fencing Program is provided for children 7-14 years old who never fenced before or have very limited knowledge and experience in fencing. SJ RECREATION PRESCHOOL KINDERPREP This class prepares your child for kindergarten with age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills and fun. BASKETBALL CAMP Camps emphasize basketball skills through fun activities as well of games or scrimmages at the end of each day. Take a walk on the wild side in this crazy week of sleuth science. Have a ton of fun as we whip up potions and experiment with all kinds of chemical reactions, including growing our own crystals, and making sidewalk chalk. Mix it up as we experiment with molecular madness, radical reactions and "fizz"-ical and chemical reactions.

Then use everything you've learned to solve the Mad Science Mystery; even Sherlock couldn't figure this one out.

Futsal is a fun, fast-paced 5v5 soccer game, played indoors within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a small, size 3, low-bounce ball. This week long futsal camp is fantastic way to get into the game whether you are trying futsal for the first time or are the next Beckham! Our highly trained professional coaching staff will ensure that your child will improve their technical skills and level of play all while having a great time. All participants will receive a Futsal Kingz T-Shirt. Indoor shoes and shin guards are required.
