CHESS STARTERS

Is your child shy or do they enjoy the limelight? This class is ideal for both. Building confidence in children so they can express in a group setting has immeasurable benefits in their school, personal and professional lives. The students in this program learn how to manage public speaking anxiety, present themselves with confidence, bring emotions, and connect with the audience fluently. Build confidence in speaking and writing skills in your children. Shy as well as confident students alike benefit from this class.

Co-ed chess class is designed for students with no experience and provides for a strong foundation in the rules & strategies needed to play the game of chess. You and your pet will learn the basic commands "Sit, stay, down, come, place, heres!" Owners will learn about common behavioral issues and to create engagement between you and your dog. We welcome pups as young as four months old with their 3 series shots, older aged dogs are welcome! So let's get their leash on and get ready for enriched bonding! Join Brick Tech this season as we plan, build, create and test LEGO projects with working trains! In this new offering we will explore STEM concepts relevant to all things locomotive in nature. Grab your tennis racket and get ready to play! Whether your child is a beginning or intermediate player, this program will improve their game and help them get more enjoyment from tennis. Our tennis programs focus on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players.

This multi-sport program was developed to give 4- to 7-year-olds a positive first step into athletics. Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun.

Through games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes; bring a water bottle and sunscreen/hat.

The fitness room at Camden provides everything you need for a complete workout. We have cardiovascular machines including treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, and arm ergometers. We also have both fixed track machines and free weights for strength training.

Please note: Fitness memberships can be used for drop-in sports at no additional cost. Drop-in sports subject to change.
