SJ Rec Preschool Spanish Exploration @ Willow Glen - Room 10 This class introduces your child to the Spanish language as they prepare for kindergarten through age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills, and fun. Your child will gain a basic understanding of Spanish words, shapes, colors, pre-phonics, literacy building (i.e. identifying letter sounds, writing the alphabet and simple words), number recognition, and counting up to 30 in both English and Spanish. The goal is to have fun, participate, and learn. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted, Children also must be able to wear a face mask for the duration of each class. Camp San Jose Jr. includes skill building, making new friendships, and much more! Campers need to bring water, lunch and sunscreen each day. Each Camp San Jose Jr. session runs for one (1) week. Safety is our main priority and we will continue to follow all Santa Clara County and state of California guidelines. Staff will conduct health screenings and wellness checks with each camper daily.
