COACHES NEEDED Volunteer Coaches are essential for a successful league. If you’re interested in being a volunteer coach, please indicate so on the registration form. A big part of the sport league's success is having volunteers like you as a part of the team. The City of San Jose has a policy that requires potential volunteers with supervisory or disciplinary control over minors at recreation centers to be fingerprinted. The fingerprints are then sent to the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for criminal background checks. If interested, please call Tomas Loredo at 408-794-1066.

HIRLN San Jose Giants Head Injury Recreation and Leisure Network San Jose Giants Game. The full schedule for the SJ Giants isn't out yet, but we are hoping it will be an evening game on June 5th. We will meet at the front gates and watch the game together. Bring extra money for food. More information will be given once the schedule is released. This event is outdoors. We will make every effort to sit in a shaded area, but those areas are non-reservable so we cannot guarantee it. The sun may be shining on us walking to and from the seats as well. Hats and sunscreen are recommended. Participants must be able to function in a 1 to 8 ratio and be independent with personal care needs or bring an attendant with them. Attendant must pay for their own ticket or register for the class. Please call Liz Best @ 794-1065 to receive a flyer or with any questions.
