PUBLIC SPEAKING AND DEBATES

Building out confidence in your children! This week's theme is "Around the World in 5 Days." The theme-based activities, speech, and debate topics make a fun learning environment for kids. Students do tongue-twister challenges, story-telling, poems, games, debates, and presentations with props and dress up. Children learn to present with confidence, use emotion and connect with the audience fluently. Shy students and talkative ones alike will benefit and learn from this class.

Being able to communicate effectively and confidently has immeasurable benefits in students' professional and personal lives. This camp helps students structure their thoughts to express their opinions effectively as well as listen to the other side. We use fun projects and activities inspired by nature, including creating stories from pictures, writing rhyming poems, presidential debates, town hall meetings, and templates, to ensure that your kids learn various writing and debating strategies. We make learning exciting and effective with this I Love Nature camp!

OPEN SKATE NIGHT

Pick-Up hockey is a mix level scrimmage time on the rink while working on individual skills, and in game scenarios. This are coed games and all genders may play together. This is a 100% club neutral program and is not affiliated with any roller hockey club. Proper roller hockey attire is required. Goalies are FREE! Must register at Roosevelt Community Center

Come skate under the stars while grooving to your favorite songs. Bring your own skates or rent a pair of our In-line skates. We do not offer quad skates. Both inline and quad skaters are welcome! Must register at Roosevelt Community Center.

ARENA FLAG FOOTBALL CLINIC

Looking to improve your futsal techniques in all areas of the game? This camp will focus on drills that will emphasize shooting, passing, dribbling, as well as 1v1 moves while maintaining a fast pace. This is open for both girls and boys and will be held inside the roller rink. Must wear proper sports attire.

Arena Flag Football Clinic is the perfect program for young athletes who want a complete introduction to a fast pace, high scoring game or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for league play. Co-ed flag football will be played inside the roller rink and game of play is modified to keep all participants safe. Must pre-register. Space is limited. No registration is allowed on the day of the event..

FUTSAL DROP-IN Futsal Drop-In Sessions provide the opportunity to sharpen player skills, provide extra practice time, and a chance to work on passing, dribbling, and individual or team playing skills. Scrimmages are encouraged with adequate participants. Every player needs to have a current waiver signed by parent/guardian and on file before playing. Futsal will be played on multi-sport surface in a outdoor roller hockey rink. Must register at the center. This is a youth only program.

Arena Flag Football Mini Camp Arena Flag Football Camp is the perfect program for young athletes who want a complete introduction to a fast pace, high scoring game or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for league play.
