MISSIONS UPDATE FROM JEREMY AND KRISTA CURRY We live in a truly historic hour. The Gospel is penetrating the unevangelized regions of the earth with greater power and speed than at any other time in history. Yet with over two billion people who have never heard the gospel, much work remains. In many of these places, intense persecution accompanies the spread of the gospel. In few places is this more apparent than in Nepal. This former Hindu Kingdom now has the fastest growing church in all of Asia! Five years have passed since Krista and I were commissioned out of St. John’s to Nepal. Today the mission team we lead has grown from five to over fifty long-term missionaries from many countries including Canada, Australia, USA, Norway, Fiji, New Zealand, India, and Nepal. Apart from study to gain fluency in Nepali, these missionaries and indigenous workers daily give themselves to prayer, Bible training, Bible distribution, and sharing of the gospel amongst remote tribes and inner-city slums. To date over 27,000 homes in three districts have received Bibles and the Gospel. On July 22 at the mission luncheon, we look forward to sharing in greater detail what God is doing and thanking you for your support. For our latest prayer letter, email us at curryj@protonmail.com
