In our Community OPERATION BABY BOTTLE // PICK UP TODAY Each year the local Crisis Pregnancy Centre does their major fundraiser with baby bottles! Today, on Mother’s Day, there are baby bottles in the foyer to pick up. We encourage you to take one home and fill it with spare change, bills, or cheques in the coming weeks. On Father’s Day bring the bottle back to church, which will then be sent back to the centre. Through donations the centre is able to offer support for women, teens, and their partners facing unplanned pregnancy, or grief after an abortion. They provide free pregnancy tests, information on pregnancy, prenatal and parenting support, and free maternity and baby clothes. BILLETING HELP The African Children’s Choir will be singing at the 6:00 pm service on Sunday, May 19 (and giving a concert at the church on Monday, May 20 at 7:00 pm). They need several host families to billet them for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights. They will spend their days at the church, but will need rides to and fro, as well as breakfast and packed lunches. If you are are willing to serve in this way, please contact Tracee Horvath at traceelise@gmail.com, or call 604-856-7442.
