Welcome to the Waterfront Festival

A celebration of boats and maritime life is what the annual Anacortes Waterfront Festival is all about.

The free festival, hosted by the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce, runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Cap Sante Marina.

The event features boatbuilding for kids, free boat rides for all, games, live music, food and vendors. Several hands-on activities are offered for children.

A Channel of Discovery will feature a pirate ship and information about marine wildlife and the environment.

A car show will display classic vehicles nearby.

A reproduction historic ship will also dock here for the festival, giving people a chance to get on and look around.

Eat, play and enjoy the days.
