2021 Tulip Ambassadors

Immaculate Conception Regional School sixth grader, Cadence Natoli, and Harriet Rowley Elementary School fifth grader, George Windler, are returning this year as the festival’s Tulip Ambassadors. The pair won the 37th annual Tulip Ambassador contest last year after competing alongside about 50 other fourth and fifth graders from around the county. A panel of judges selected the two best candidates by asking participants a couple of questions: why he or she wants to be a Tulip Ambassador and a “mystery” question such as: “Who is your favorite superhero and why?” With the festival shut down last year because of Covid-19, George and Cadence didn’t get an opportunity to participate like normal so their term was extended. Festival President Cindy Verge said, “They’re still excited to be ambassadors. We were pleased to get them involved with the virtual poster unveiling last fall and look forward to working with them through this year’s festival – even if the events won’t look
