Tulip Festival Suppliers
Festival Merchandiser
Westar Solutions is returning this year as the official Tulip Festival merchandising supplier. Based in Mount Vernon, Westar Solutions offers a complete source for graphics services from design to print, everything from business cards to vehicle wraps, signage and fine art reproductions.
Popular products like coasters, stickers and posters will be available along with some new styles like a collector’s pin (limited run of 100) and mouse pads. With nearly 100% of merchandising now happening in Skagit County, the festival is able to offer a wider variety of clothing colors and sizes. The festival is proud to be producing merchandise locally and of the relationships we have with local retailers who can carry some of these products. Said Westar President
Kevin Hartman, “It’s not just a festival or about making a profit. We’re involved in Tulip Festival meetings –

Tulip Suppliers
The tulips are spread throughout the Skagit Valley in rotating fields a few miles apart so you will want to take a driving tour to see them all. The festival’s tulip suppliers, RoozenGaarde/Washington Bulb Co., Inc. and Tulip Town, both offer artistic tulip displays in their show gardens and have a deep passion for growing tulips.
Washington Bulb Company/ RoozenGaarde Flowers & Bulbs: RoozenGaarde
Owned by the Roozen family, RoozenGaarde (tulips.com) is the retail division of Washington Bulb Company Inc., the largest flower bulb grower in North America. It farms nearly 800 acres of tulip and daffodil fields located throughout the Skagit Valley. In addition to the fields of flowers, they also grow tulips and lilies year-round in 15 acres of greenhouses and peonies in the late spring. Washington Bulb Company Inc. is one of the largest employers in the Skagit Valley and the primary tulip grower for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
RoozenGaarde is currently open but the festival season will be a bit different for 2021. Capacity will be restricted during Tulip Festival and advanced reservations via online ticketing will be required. For information regarding the spring bloom and online ticketing, those interested should visit tulips.com/tulip-festivalinformation.
RoozenGaarde’s five-acre display garden is redesigned every year with 100 plus varieties of tulips and over 150 other flower varieties including daffodils, hyacinths, crocus, muscari and other specialty flowers. A 25-acre tulip field and 22-acre daffodil field sit next to the display garden. Visit RoozenGaarde’s Bloom Map at www.tulips.com for updated Bloom information.
Tulip Festival visitors will need to book tickets online in advance.
Don’t forget the gift shop, bulb booth and fresh cut flowers.
