FEATURED LATIN ARTIST:
We are thrilled to have Mexican singer, actress, and television host Ninel Conde as our featured Latin artist at the Fair. Ninel Conde has distinguished herself as one of the most versatile figures in the artistic world. Her talent and tenacity as a top-level artist have led her to countless projects that have captured national and international attention.
From a very young age, Ninel felt a special attraction to music. Shortly after, she had the opportunity to venture onto the small screen where she began with unitary programs on Televisa. Later, she demonstrated her theatrical abilities in telenovelas at two of the most important television networks in Mexico, Televisa and TV Azteca. She is known for her performances in Rebelde, Fuego en la sangre, Mar de amor, Ugly Betty, and Porque el amor manda. In a short time, her fame spread internationally and the American television network Univision requested her participation in telenovelas.
In 2003, Conde ventured into music, participating in fairs, carnivals, theaters, palenques, and rodeos, among other venues, in various parts of the Mexican Republic and Central America. Ninel has also participated in musical numbers, special performances in sketches and hosting events such as Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, Latin Grammy, Tv Y Novelas, and Billboard Awards, among others.
As an ambassador of Latin beauty, she has graced the covers of magazines and done countless photo shoots for various print media, including Viga Entertaiment, Furia Musical, Health & Fitness, Instyle, Farandula, and others.
In August 2003, Ninel crystallized her lifelong dream of releasing her self-titled album, produced by Raymundo Saenz under Universal Music record company. This album contains the song “Callados”, which she played as a duet with singer José Manuel Figueroa; it was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2004 for “Mejor álbum grupero.” On November 15, 2005, she released her second album called La rebelde, which included the songs “Todo conmigo”, “Ingrato”, “Que no te asombre”, and “y Tú”. In 2006, Ninel entered the world of pop music with her single “El Bombon Asesino” (in its five versions) under the direction of Adrian Pose, with the Televisa Emi Music label. In 2016, she ventured into the banda genre with the single “TE PASARA” written by Horacio Palencia.
Ninel will be bringing her brand of Latin music to the Skagit County Fair. Don’t miss this show!
