PK DWYER
Wednesday & Friday: 12:00 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.
PK Dwyer is a songwriter, creative force, and folk and blues busker extraordinaire. Famous in the Seattle area as the first busker at the Seattle Pike Place Market in 1972, PK is a living piece of music history. To this day, you can find PK busking at Pike Place Market and at various locations throughout the beautiful Puget Sound area when he doesn’t have a scheduled event.
TRASK
Wednesday: 3:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Three up and coming artists of the Skagit Valley make up the moody emo tunes which Trask has built its name around. Band members are Dmitri Wagoner, Demetrius P)etitt, and Henry Rasco.
MT. BAKER COUNCIL SQUARE DANCERS
Wednesday: 6:15 p.m.
Square dancing is coming to the Community Stage from the Mt. Baker Council Square Dancers. The Council offers lessons and dances and performs at special events.
STEVE JOHNSON
Thursday: 12:00 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Steve Johnson, known onstage as “The Pension King”, is a retired singer/songwriter from Southern California, offering an eclectic mix of acoustic songs, both cover and original. He worked as a truck driver for 30 years, performing in bands, live theater productions, and many solo/duos along the way. Steve retired here to be close to his granddaughters and feels fortunate to have met so many musical souls here in the PNW!
Thursday: 3:15 p.m.
Tom Fair and Joe Williamson are the dynamic duo behind the HOMETOWNERS. The pair has been performing country classic songs and other old-time favorites for the last several years at a variety of places including county fairs, retirement centers, health care facilities, farmers markets, and private parties.
MARCIA KESTER
Thursday: 5:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
Marcia’s savory vocal texture falls somewhere between Patsy Cline and Bonnie Raitt. Her arrangements add a modern flavor to classic songs with a taste of rock in the country tunes and a dash of country in the rock songs. Marcia’s unique performance style combines a lively stage presence, fun audience interaction, memorable music, and snippets of story.
PAIGE WOODS and the HIGH FIVES
Friday: 3:15 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Paige Woods and the High Fives are a Pacific Northwest rock band based in Bellingham, delivering powerful vocals and new twists on your favorite classic rock songs.
THE FAT FRIDAYS
Friday: 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The Fat Fridays jazz-infused originals and curated classics creates a show with a diverse list of great songs from the likes of James Taylor, The Beatles, Billy Joel, and more. It’s like the radio used to be: a variety of rock, jazz, R&B, country, folk, and occasionally, calypso.
Saturday: 12:00 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Megs McLean is a full-time professional country singer/songwriter and performer who has played for Taylor Swift and Kenny Chesney audiences and headlined numerous festivals and events including opening for Martina McBride, Montgomery Gentry, Clint Black, Sara Evans, Thompson Square, Lee Brice, David Lee Murphy, Lorrie Morgan, and Pam Tillis.
MARY ELLEN-LYKINS and CRAIG ADAMS
Saturday: 3:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
There is no mistaking the voice; Mary Ellen has power and grit that will give you chills. She is a blues vocal powerhouse and savvy songwriter, performing with Craig Adams on guitar.
MAMA DIRTY SKIRT
Saturday: 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Mama Dirty Skirt has been performing the hits of classic rock, motown, rhythm and blues, and more for the last five years all around Skagit County. Rich harmonies and bluesy vocals combine with crafty instrumentalists and inventive solos. Lead singers, Ria, Kelly, and Joe, known as ‘the Diva Section’, rotate throughout the show backed by a full sound that keeps the crowd dancing!
