Employment & Business

As we exit the pandemic phase of Covid-19, businesses face a new, promising landscape along with some challenges such as staffing issues. In the past year, Sedro-Woolley has seen new businesses sprouting up alongside our amazing long-standing businesses such as the Oliver-Hammer Clothes Shop that celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2021. The city has a new gym (Bee Fit), a new yoga studio, Schaffner’s Pharmacy is moving into town, and a new diesel engine manufacturing company that uses cutting edge technology is doing business here in Sedro-Woolley.

The Big Rock Woolley Market, with its cedar tap wall, is still going strong and Laura’s Carniceria & Mexican Store and Pioneer Marketplace have quickly become staples in our community.

Looking forward, there is much reason for optimism and business
