Eagle Haven Winery

With growing conditions similar to France’s Loire Valley and the Northern Rhine Valley of Germany, Skagit County is home to an increasing number of wineries. White wine grapes such as madeleine angevine and siegerrebe are known to grow well in Skagit’s mild climate, while pinot noir grapes are being grown in increasing numbers at local vineyards. The Skagit Valley grows 100 acres of wine grapes valued at more than $1 million, according to data from Washington State University.

Eagle Haven Winery is located just 10 minutes off of I-5, east of Sedro-Woolley in the upper Skagit Valley at 8243 Sims Road, Sedro-Woolley. In October 2021, Bughouse Operations bought the farm and the winery. The Bughouse Operations is made up of a group of six local people whose goal is to make Eagle Haven Winery a destination with great wines and great events. The team is also working hard to bring back the apples and pears and completing other much needed improvements. Come by and meet the new owners!

The winery features Eagle Haven’s signature wines and fruit-based wines in their all-ages tasting room. The tasting room has small snacks, popcorn, beer, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages. This year, the winery is producing its own brand of cider! All wines are Washington sourced; the team is working on rejuvenating the Eagle Haven grape vineyard.

Other things going on at the vineyard:

The Eagle Haven Sunday Market runs between May and October.

There is a wine garden and wooden pavilion where private events can be hosted.

The summer concert series begins June 3. Visit http://www. eaglehavenwinery.com/summer-concerts. html for more information.
