Family Entertainment on the Main Stage

You can count on great family entertainment at the Skagit County Fair. This year, we have three wonderful, returning acts that bring the fun every time we see them. Be prepared to be delighted! Matt Henry, tHe “Master of tHe unnecessary” Wednesday: 12:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Thursday: 12:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Friday: 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Saturday: 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

Matt Henry is a performer with some serious skills. His cutting-edge effects, and innovative wit have awed and amused audiences around the world but it’s his combination of one-of-akind stunts, humor, and audience participation that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats and rolling in the aisles. Matt developed the nucleus of his Comedy Juggling Stunt Show during his days busking on the streets of Manhattan. He then moved to Orlando, honing his skills with thousands (yes, thousands) of shows onstage at Disney World. Henry continued to expand his technical repertoire as well and his hard work was rewarded in 2001 when he bested dozens of other world-class competitors to win a World Juggling Championship.

At just 23 years old, Elliott Hunter is named as one of the top young magicians working today! He is a regular performer at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, and has headlined some of the world’s most exclusive private night clubs in L.A. and Las Vegas. Most recently he was named the International Champion of stage magic by the Magic Masters Summit and is hailed by his peers for his ability to appeal to audiences both young and old all over the world. After obtaining his engineering degree, Elliott worked to incorporate his technical knowledge to customize his show for large company meetings and educational efforts; all while adding a dynamic aspect to his full evening show. Companies like SONY, TEDx, and Starbucks have all featured Elliott for the energy and enthusiasm he brings to his efforts. By combining sleight of hand with intimate storytelling and other facets of entertainment, Elliott Hunter creates an experience more unique than his Ginger Genetics!

Ladies and gentlemen, The Skagit County Fair would like to welcome back, once again, our favorite hypnotist, the Rockstar of Hypnosis himself: Ron Stubbs!
